The urban community-oriented living is actively unfolding on a 7.5-acre site in the heart of Markham. With luxury condominiums, townhouses, retail mall, and professional office space, Turner Fleischer has designed a self-contained environment where residents are able to live, work and play. Due to the sheer magnitude and complexity of the project, collaboration and coordination among all involved parties became a challenge. Creating a central file linking all architectural Revit models and AutoCAD drawings allowed for easier resolution of design modifications, changes, and conflict detection. The inspiration for a mixed-use development gave rise to this vibrant urban design. Residents have direct and easy indoor access to shops, restaurants, T&T grocery store and office facilities. Abundant, natural space is conveniently available in the adjacent park. Overall, the Asian themed mall and its street-level public realm successfully enhances the local community.
